PC and printer major HP Inc. on Wednesday announced a new lineup of LaserJet printers with sustainable TeraJet toner that delivers up to 27 percent less energy use and up to 78 percent less plastic packaging.

The HP Color LaserJet 4200/4300 and HP Color LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000 and X500/X600 printing solutions are for businesses of all sizes and will be available soon.

With up to 25 percent faster print speeds, customers can empower their teams with technology that enables greater productivity.

TerraJet is an advanced toner technology that requires up to 27 percent less energy when printing, and up to 78 percent reduction in plastic, all while providing sharper details with up to 20 percent more printable colors.

HP TerraJet cartridges may have a lower carbon footprint than their predecessor products and are included in new printing solutions from small business through large enterprise, the company said.

Currently, half of small businesses struggle to manage technology in a hybrid workplace and 91 percent of small businesses still rely on printed documents to run their businesses.

“The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000 and X500/X600 Reimagined are built for the office and deliver the productivity and efficiency of an A3 copier at the price of an A4 printer,” said HP.

The printers offer fast and seamless digitization using HP EveryPage with Reverse and Retry, which enhances document integrity by never missing a scanned page and minimizes misfeeds with auto-recovery.
