Here is how you can find out whether the PAN card is fake or genuine:
STEP1: First you have to go to the e-filing portal of Income Tax Department.
STEP2: Here, you need to click on the link ‘Verify your PAN details’ on the top right side.
STEP3: After this the users will have to fill the PAN card details (How to check PAN card details).
STEP4: In this you will be given information like PAN number, full name of PAN card holder, his date of birth etc.
STEP5: After filling the correct information, a message will appear on the portal that whether the information entered matches with your PAN card or not.
STEP6: In this way you can easily find out the veracity of the PAN card.
