“As the company rolls this out, each account will be upgraded to 1 TB from their existing 15 GB of storage,” Google said in a blogpost.
With this upgrade, most workspace personal users will no longer have to worry about running out of storage space in Gmail and Drive.
Additionally, Google Drive comes with built-in protection against malware, spam, and ransomware, so users don’t have to worry about opening documents and accidentally exposing themselves to malware.
According to the blogpost, “You can store more than 100 file types in Drive, including PDFs, CAD files, and pictures, and you can easily collaborate and edit Microsoft Office files without converting them.”

With the built-in mail merge update, users can now add mail merge tags such as @firstname to multi-send emails, so each recipient receives a unique email that appears to be individually tailored just for them.
However, by default, multiple-sending emails include an unsubscribe link, which allows recipients to opt out of receiving future messages.
Google is also launching Workspace Personal in some new countries and regions: Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Greece and Argentina.
The new countries will join a growing list of places where business owners can sign up for Workspace Personal, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Australia and six countries across Europe.
According to a report, with the expansion of Workspace Individual, the company will add more features including premium Meet, e-signature in Google Docs, appointment scheduling and flexible layout in Gmail.
