Google Pixel 6a was launched last year at a price of Rs 43,999. However, just months after its release, the device started receiving price cuts. The device was available for around Rs 30,000 after the India launch of the Pixel 7 series and some Diwali offers.

Interestingly, the Pixel 6a is now available for Rs 29,999, which is its lowest non-sale price. On top of this, there is a bank discount and an exchange offer which makes it a deal worth checking out.

Google Pixel 6a is a good deal for Rs 29,999, but should you buy it?

Arguably, this is the best clean Android smartphone available in the under Rs 30,000 segment.

But when we look at other aspects like 60Hz standard display, less powerful processor and smaller battery, it is not the best phone in the segment.

In fact, there are many options that are powerful and provide a fluid experience. Some of its competitors that you can consider are Nothing Phone (1), iQOO 9 SE 5G and iQOO Neo 6/7.

However, for those who want a clean stock Android experience, solid cameras, and a compact form factor, the Pixel 6a is the device to have.

But before you buy it, do note that its successor, the Google Pixel 7a, is just a few months away from release. It is expected to arrive in the next 3-4 months. However, the Pixel 7a will be expensive when released. Now, it is up to you, if you can wait till the above mentioned time and you are not in dire need of the smartphone, then holding on is your best option – provided you are willing to pay more.

Otherwise, at Rs 29,999, the Pixel 6a is a really good deal.
