Google Calendar is an incredibly used platform that lets users set up meetings and invite others to join the meet. The platform can be especially useful when a user is already setting up a meeting. How to share a calendar with specific people or groups
Step 1: Open Google Calendar on your PC.
Note: You can’t share calendars from the Google Calendar app.
Step 2: On the left side of the window, go to the “My Calendars” section and expand it.
Step 3: Now click on the down arrow and then hover over the calendar you want to share.
Step 4: Now click on the More button and then click on the Settings and Sharing button.
Step 5: Next, click on the Add people option under the ‘Share with specific people’ option.
Step 6: Add the email address of a person or group.
Step 7: Finally click on the send button. By doing so, the recipient will receive your invitation, which they must click to add the calendar to their list.
How to share calendar with the public
Step 1: Open Google Calendar on your PC.
Step 2: On the left side of your browser window in Google Calendar, find the “My Calendars” section and click the down arrow button to expand it.
Step 3: Now, hover over the calendar you want to share and click on the More button.
Step 4: Next, click on the Settings and sharing button.
Step 5: Under the “Access Permissions” section, select the Make available to public option.
Step 6: Next to the “Make publicly available” option, select the level of access you want to grant in the drop-down menu.
Step 7: Click on the send button.
How to share a calendar with everyone in your organization
Step 1: Open Google Calendar on your PC.
Step 2: On the left side, next to ‘Other calendars’, click on Add and then click on the option ‘Create new calendar’.
Step 3: Add calendar name, description and time zone.
Step 4: Now, click on Create Calendar option.
Step 5: To share it, click on the name of your new calendar on the left.
Step 6: Point to the shared calendar and then click More Options.
Step 7: Now, click on the Settings and sharing option.
Step 8: Under Access Permissions, check the box ‘Make it available to your organization’.
Step 9: Click the down arrow and then select an option in the Permissions box.
Step 10: Click on the send button.
