City-based Drone-as-a-Service (DAAS) company Garuda Aerospace has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for collaborative research projects.
According to Garuda Aerospace, collaborative research projects using drones, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for applications to geographic surveying for government and society.
Collaborative operational and research projects in these areas may be undertaken by Garuda Aerospace and IISc’s Department of Aerospace Engineering.
According to Agneswar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO, Garuda Aerospace, the tie-up with IISc is a step towards realizing the company’s potential to provide the development of digital input processing packaging tools, including yield estimation from a given image, of crops. Includes diagnosis, monitoring and mapping. farms and land.
“This partnership will facilitate collaborative development of new technology related to surveillance applications using drones, which will benefit farmers, the government and the country as a whole. IISc will provide a central cloud platform for storage of data,” Dr SN Onkar, Chief Research Scientist Control and Guidance had said in a statement.
