Samsung has long been rumored to launch the Galaxy S21FE as this year’s flagship killer. We’ve seen a lot of rumors about it but the latest leak came from Samsung. The company was seen leaking the smartphone via an ad on Instagram, which was later deleted.
The picture gives us a glimpse of the Galaxy S21FE in purple. Although there is no confirmation of the S21FE, it is more or less similar to the expected design we have seen so far.
Samsung may release Galaxy S21FE
The now deleted Instagram post does not fully display the phone but from what we can see it reaffirms previous rumors. The Galaxy S21FE probably comes with a rear camera hump, which can also be seen on the Galaxy S21 Plus.
The difference will be in the shades. Unlike the dual tone finish seen on the expensive Galaxy S21 phone, it is expected to come in a single color. It is also expected that the phone will feature a plastic unibody as part of some cost reduction instead of a combination of a metal frame and glass / plastic back panel.
According to previous rumors, the device will come in a matte finish and is expected to have green, purple and black color options.
While new information could signal a launch that could happen soon, we will have to wait some time. The phone is expected to launch in October, contrary to earlier rumors August launch time.
Also, it may launch in selected markets due to chip shortages. This could get the phone an Exynos chip instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SOC.
For other information, the Galaxy S21FE is expected to come with an AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 25W faster charging and advanced camera. It could fall below Rs 50,000 as its predecessor.
