Fisker Inc. will first set up a technology center in Hyderabad with over 300 engineers and then start manufacturing its second electric vehicle in India, called Pear, within two years in partnership with Foxconn.
Fisker Inc. has outsourced its manufacturing to Foxconn for its US, Europe, China and India markets. Its first SUV, named the Ocean, is planned to be introduced globally in November and will be imported to India as a CBU.
The Peer is expected to be launched in India around 2024-25 with a price range of around Rs 20,00,000. The company has also revealed that within the next few years, it expects to achieve sales volume of 2,50,000 units.
Fisker revealed that it has already received over 25,000 requests globally, including requests from India.

The location for the manufacturing plant is yet to be finalized, but Fisker is optimistic about the prospects for electric vehicles in India.
