Exclusive: Realme to bring new C30 series budget, mid-range smartphone to India

Realme will launch more C30 series smartphones this year. The company’s India head Madhav Sheth told BGR. Realme announced that it will focus on the budget segment with the third generation C-series smartphone. Apart from other strengths of the C-series realme devices, this new generation may also focus on design.

During an interview with BGR.in, Madhav Sheth, VP of Realme and President of Realme International Business Group, shared the company’s goals and aspirations for the new financial year. Talking about the mid-range and budget products, Madhav Sheth said that the company will introduce more differentiating points in the Realme C series.

Sheth said, “What we have understood from our past experience is that design has been the main fundamental pillar along with performance. With Realme, performance and design are the main fundamental pillars. If you look at our new C35 series, people have liked the design a lot. Hence, we are trying to differentiate a lot in terms of design and performance in the entry-level segment.”

Realme’s plans for mid-range and high-end smartphones

He further added, “With Mid-Rangers, what we are trying to do is to introduce more different points of view of high-end innovation. Like we started offering OIS camera in Realme 9 Pro+, which was a very high-end feature. We tried to take it to the public.

In high-end phones, Sheth revealed that Realme will continue to bring innovations in terms of charging, display, camera. “We will continue to make sure that life is easier for those around us,” he said.

Sheth also spoke about the democratization of 5G. During an interaction with BGR.in, Sheth said that over 50 per cent of their line-up will be 5G in 2022. He emphasized the role of 5G in the future. He said that with 5G in the picture, phones will become hubs. Anything that is traditional around your home will turn smart. As smart TVs have already moved from traditional to smart. In such a situation, 5G will play a very important role in terms of speed and convenience.

Elaborating on Realme’s roadmap for this financial year, Sheth said, “Realme has always been at the forefront of the market in many ways. We have brought many things for the first time in India as well as globally. He also told us that Realme will launch the GT Neo 3 which comes with 150W fast charging.
