iPhone SE 3 details leak: Powerful specs but same old design as iPhone SE 2020

The iPhone SE 3 has been the victim of several leaks and rumors in the last few months. This iPhone model was supposed to be released this year but the latest reports indicate a 2022 release. The exact launch date or timeline has not yet been revealed. Prior to the release, details of some key specifications and designs were leaked online.

IPhone SE3 Specification (leaked)

According to reports from Japan Makotakar Blog, iPhone SE 3 will give a design similar to iPhone SE 2021. This indicates that the upcoming affordable iPhone will have a 7.7-inch LCD display that will support the bottom and top bezels and Touch ID. It will also offer the same old aluminum body as the existing iPhone SE 2020 model.

The report further reveals that the iPhone SE3 will be powered by Appleā€™s latest A15 bionic chipset, which runs the iPhone 13 series smartphones. Four iPhone models under the 13 series, including the iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, will be packed with the powerful A15 bionic chipset. It further suggests that the upcoming iPhone will come with 5G support, which is not seen in the predecessor.

IPhone SE3 launch timeline

In addition to the design and some important specifications, production of the iPhone SE3 is expected to begin in December 2021. We will see the iPhone launch in the spring 2022.

Apple has not released any details about the upcoming iPhone SE3.

Price of iPhone SE 2021 in India

Cupertino-based tech giant iPhone SE 2021 sells in two variants – 64GB and 128GB storage. In terms of price, the 64GB model comes in at Rs 39,900. The top-end model with 128GB storage is priced at Rs 44,900. The iPhone comes in three colors – (product) red, black and white. There are currently no details about the price of the iPhone SE3.
