Crayon Envy EV with 160 km range launched in India for Rs 64,000


Crayon Motors has launched a new electric scooter named Crayon Envy. The scooter is the second low-speed electric scooter launched by the company in India. The company claims that the scooter has a large boot space and keyless start feature.

The Crayon Envy electric scooter starts at Rs 64,000 and comes in four colours: white, black, blue and silver. The company is giving 24 months warranty on the motor and controller. The new scooter will be available at over a hundred retail locations across India. Crayon claims that the scooter can deliver a running cost of 14p/km.

Crayon Motors claimed that the new scooter has been made and designed in India. It will be manufactured at the Ghaziabad manufacturing unit of Crayon Motors.

Envy Electric Scooter Features

The Envy is equipped with a host of features such as geo tagging, digital speedometer, central locking and mobile charging. The scooter also comes with reverse assist option, which allows the scooter to move forward and backward, helping the rider to tackle tight parking spaces. Dual headlights will be available in the Envy electric scooter. It also gets tubeless tyres, disc brakes and 150mm of ground clearance.

Envy Top Speed, Battery and Range

The scooter has a maximum speed of 25 kmph and does not require a driving license or registration. It has a 250-watt BLDC motor that produces maximum power for cruising at maximum speed. The Envy comes in various variants with a mileage of up to 160 km/h.

Crayon Motors has partnered with top financing companies like Bajaj Finserv, Manappuram Finance, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Zest Money, Shopse and Petel to offer a wide range of financing options.

The Crayon Envy EV was launched in India with a range of 160 km for Rs 64,000 which first appeared on BGR India.
