This is not the first time that social media platforms have been used to harass or threaten women, especially on the basis of religion. In a recent event, this audio chatting application is Clubhouse. A Twitter user shared a video in which young women and men are seen making lewd comments during a session at the clubhouse.
Recently, we talked about the Bulli Bai incident, where Muslim women were put in online auctions. The police officers immediately targeted the mastermind of Bulli Bai and are currently in custody. A similar incident was reported last year, called the Sully Deal.
The video was shared by @jaiminism and the tweet went viral in no time. The room in the said clubhouse was titled “Muslim girls are more beautiful than Hindu girls”. Young men and women were (unfortunately) found making obscene remarks against Muslim women.
The post also included screenshots of two clubhouse accounts, namely @sallos.hell and @wtf.astic, who allegedly started the “Muslim girls are more beautiful than Hindu girls” clubhouse room.
Trigger Alert ️
in here @clubhouse, a young group of Hindus is discussing impunity with: a) "Hitting a Muslim girl’s vagina is equal to the destruction of 7 Babri Masjids", b) "We are RSS fans, we will convert Muslim girls, and c) Muslim girls have pinker vaginas than Hindus
