BSNL has launched a new Rs 749 broadband plan: Comes with VOD, VPN service

State-owned telecom company BSNL has launched a new FTTH broadband plan priced at Rs 1,000. Two plans have been launched, including a 100 Mbps plan priced at Rs 749 and a 200 Mbps plan available at Rs 949. Additionally, customers will get CPE with 4X100 Mbps Ethernet port and two common telephone ports called Home Optical Network Termination.

With Fiber-to-the-Home service, you get the benefit of high speed internet connection without any interruptions. People use the internet in their homes and public and private sector employees and officials will get enough speed for high load internet sites and other uses.

Broadband to FTTH 100 Mbps high-speed internet will be available to customers at low cost, which will help them to do simple things in a very convenient way from online home class and other digital services.

BSNL FTTH Rs 749 plan

The BSNL FTTH 749 Taka plan offers 100 Mbps speed up to 100 Gbps which is later reduced to 5 Mbps. You will have access to BSNL Cinemaplus and Yupp TV services including Sony Live Premium, ZEE5 Premium, Voot Select, Yupp TV Live, NCF Channel, FDFS, Yupp TV Movie and Yupp TV Scope. The price of this plan is 749 rupees

The company has launched another Rs 799 with 3300GB or 3.3 TB or 3300GB data up to 100 Mbps speed. Once the data is exhausted, the speed is reduced to 2 Mbps.

BSNL FTTH Rs 949 plan

The second FTTH plan offers 150 Mbps speeds up to 200 GB which is later reduced to 10 Mbps. It costs 949 rupees. Both plans are available in all circles except Andaman and Nicobar Circle. Both plans run until March 2022.

Services provided by BSNL FTTH Broadband Plan

  1. Basic Internet access service is controlled and unrestricted from 256Kbps to 1000Mbps.
  2. TV over IP service (MPEG2).
  3. Video on Demand (VoD) (MPEG4) plays like a VCR
  4. Audio on demand service
  5. Bandwidth on demand (user and service configurable)
  6. Distance learning
  7. Point-to-point and point-to-multi-point video conferencing, virtual classrooms
  8. IP over voice and video telephony: Connection to control centrally located soft switches
  9. Interactive gaming
  10. VPN on broadband
  11. Dial-up VPN service
  12. Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS)
