How do you see if someone has blocked you on Snapchat?

Before we tell you about the ways we can take you to see if someone has blocked you on Snapchat, you should know that blocking and moving are two different things. Although you may not get notice in both cases, there is a way to see the difference.

If someone blocks you, their chats may still be there, and they may appear on your friends list to create more confusion. If someone removes you as a friend, the chats will be missing and will not appear in your friends list.

Check your chat list

If you think you’ve been blocked by a friend on Snapchat, the first thing to do is chat with them. If chats are deleted, here’s a hint. But, it could also mean that the person has probably deleted his Snapchat account, perhaps to get a perspective.

Message them, maybe!

Since the first step may not necessarily mean blocking, you can simply send the person to find out. If the message fails to reach the receiver, you have a chance to block it. But, Snapchat usually shows no sign of it unlike WhatsApp, which hides the DP of the person who may have blocked you and then, there is only one tick in the message. If the message has a pending option, that person may have removed you from the friends list.

Check out the Snapchat score

You can check a person’s Snapchat score to see if you’re on their block list. If the score shows up, you’re not blocked and maybe things are okay between the two of you. But again, if that is the case with your friendship.

Search for them

This is said to be a good way to find out if someone has blocked or removed you from their Snapchat. Simply search by entering a person’s name or Snapchat username in the search bar. If the name is shown, you will know there is no blocking. In this case, the name will appear under My Friends or there will be an option to add the person as a friend. This will remove all confusion.

You can try to find their story. If this is a no-show, you can be blocked. But, it could also be because you will either be removed as a friend or will be sounded nuted.

Ask someone else to look for that person

This is another method that you can use. Just ask a friend of yours who blocked you to search for the person you suspect. If another Snapchat account can find the profile and you can’t, you’ve got a hint.

There’s no right way to find out if someone has blocked you on Snapchat but what we’ve mentioned can help. If you’re curious, give them a try and if the answer is yes, don’t bother too much and move on!
