The Flipkart Big Billion Des Sale has started from October 3 with several discounts and offers on many items ranging from smartphones, laptops, smartwatches, earbuds, and smart TVs. The iPhone 12 is getting a bumper discount resulting in heavier orders on shopping websites. Fraud allegations are often found in online shopping through e-commerce portals, including finding bricks, soap or anything else inside the box of a smartphone or other device. Recently, a user expressed dissatisfaction because he ordered an iPhone 12 at the time of sale but got a soap in the package.
Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale Fraud Case
A user named Simranpal Singh recently ordered an iPhone 12 worth Rs 53,000 during Flipkart’s Big Billion Day sale. But when he got the delivery, there were two packets of Nirma soap inside the box. Simranpal Singh has shared all the information about this incident on his blog GoAndroid. In addition, she posted a video made during the delivery on her YouTube channel.
When he gets the soap after opening the box, he first rejects the OTP request to confirm delivery. This informed the company that the order was yet to be delivered. The incident happened on 4 October. The problem helped me to go through the same problem as the delivery was marked as “failed” when the box was opened. Instead, I did not provide OTP, which is used to mark the item as “delivery,” Singh said.
The video shows that as soon as the above packaging was opened it had two soaps instead of an iPhone 12. Singh then marks the delivery as “failed” and supports Flipkart, which claims the item is still being “shown as” for delivery “and can only be canceled if its status is provided. Flipkart then promises to call and their delivery boy leaves with a failed delivery.
Due to the Open Box Delivery option, Flipkart admits its mistake and cancels the order, and returns the money back to the user’s account.
The post is bizarre! Flipkart customers ordered 5 iPhones, iPhone 12 worth Rs.
