Battlegrounds Mobile India was released in July for Android devices. Specifically, since BGMI was launched for Android users on July 2, millions of users across the country have downloaded the Royal Game of War from the Google Play Store.
Crafton is now gearing up to launch Battlegrounds Mobile India game for iPhone and iPad users in the country. The launch date of BGMI iOS version has now been leaked.
BGMI iOS release date
According to a report from InsideSport, Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS version will be released on 20th August. It is speculated that like the Android version release, BGMI iOS may first release as a beta and then build stable. The beta release will of course be limited to some users and once a stable build is released, all iPhone and iPad users in the country will be able to access the game.
It should be noted that the game developer has not yet officially announced the release date of BGMI iOS, so take all the reports around it with a pinch of salt for now.
Battlegrounds Mobile India has been teasing about the release of the BGMI iOS version since last week. In a recent social media post, the game developer hinted that the iOS version of the game would be released much sooner than expected. This probably hints at the August release. We’ll still have to wait for Crafton’s release date to be announced before making any assumptions.
How to download BGMI on Android
Currently, Battlegrounds Mobile India is only available for Android users. Players can download the Battle Royale game on Android phones from the Google Play Store. Battlegrounds Mobile India has downloaded more than 10 million users across the country through the Play Store alone and this number is expected to increase manifold with the release of iOS.
To download the game to your mobile phone, your Android device must be running Android version 5.1.1. Or on top of that, pack at least 2GB of RAM and of course a stable internet connection to run the game smoothly.
