After launching an updated version of its mainstream Intel-based ROG gaming laptop, Asus has now launched the successor to the ROG G series in India. Known as the ROG Strix G Advantage Edition, the laptop has only one model in India which is priced at Rs 1,54,990 and will be available from 11 August 2021. The laptop will be sold through Asus Exclusive Stores, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay. Sale.
The Strix G Advantage version relies on the latest AMD internals. If you’re wondering what the “Advantage Edition” of Monica means, Asus says it refers to the improved quality and durability that comes courtesy of a new metal lining. “Silently the original black color is paired with a red wrist cap and RGB light that can be personalized to resonate with anyone’s gaming mood and needs. The new modern design screen also gives a screen-to-body ratio of 5%, ”says Asus.
ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition has been launched in India
The ROG Strix G15 Advantage version is built around an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor with an AMD Radeon RX 6800M graphics card with 12GB of GDDR6 memory. AMD SmartShift technology boosts GPU graphics performance by up to 15%.
Asus is offering 16GB of DDR4 at 3200MHz and you can add up to 16GB of RAM via an expandable socket. For storage, there is a single 1TB PCIe SSD storage and buyers can expand it by another 1TB through the expandable slot. The I / O ports on the ROG Strix G15 include three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port that supports a display port and a 100W PD charger. It also has an RJ45 port, an HDMI 2.0 port and an audio jack.
For audio, the laptop has a stereo speaker setup with smart AMP technology. The display itself is using an IPS LCD panel with QHD resolution and 3ms response time. There is support for 100 percent DCI-P3 color and brightness levels up to 300 nits. There is a 90Wh battery that comes with a 280W charging adapter. Asus says the charger can top the battery from 0 to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
