Just after Flipkart started its short-lived extravaganza of iPhone 13 offers, Apple announced that it will be holding its annual Festive Season sale event in India starting September 26. Today, the Apple Store finally revealed the offer, but it didn’t turn out as everyone expected. The Apple Store will give you up to Rs 7,000 cashback on any product purchase of Rs 41,900 or more, provided you have an eligible credit card. And all.
This year’s Diwali offer on Apple Store India does not offer any freebies and it is disappointing. During the Diwali sale last year, Apple was offering free AirPods on the purchase of the iPhone 12. Essentially, Apple was offering you the first generation AirPods worth the price. So, if you want to buy a better model, such as the AirPods Pro, you will have to pay an additional amount over the cost of the AirPods.
Maybe the wait was not worth it. @Apple India’s Diwali offer is just ₹7,000 cashback using HDFC Bank and AmEx credit cards. That’s it. No freebies this time. Even before the offer, ₹6k HDFC Bank cashback was already there. but decent deal #iPhone14Pro buyer.

So if you don’t have any free gifts, the Rs 7,000 cashback offer is only fair for new devices as the old ones are already selling at a discount on third-party shopping websites. For example, the iPhone 13 was available on the first sale of Big Billion Days for Rs 48,000.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 is selling at a revised price of Rs 69,900 on the Apple Store. And even if you apply the Rs 7,000 instant cashback on that price, there is no water against what Flipkart is currently offering. You can get the iPhone 13 256GB for Rs 66,990 before the card and cashback offer.
But if it’s the iPhone 14 that you want, then cashback of up to Rs 7,000 on Apple Store HDFC Bank and American Express credit cards makes total sense. This is because you can get a brand new iPhone 14 for Rs 72,900, iPhone 14 Plus for Rs 82,900, iPhone 14 Pro for Rs 1,22,900 and iPhone 14 Pro Max for Rs 1,32,900. And these are deals you can’t find anywhere else. If you have HDFC Bank credit card then you can get regular cashback of Rs.6,000 from your nearest mobile dealer. So what Apple is offering is Rs 1,000 more than what you are typically getting.
The bottom line is that Apple’s new Diwali offers are worth considering if you need to buy a new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, but if you’re eyeing an older iPhone model, I don’t think Apple’s offer is the best for you. Will get deal on this.
The Apple Store post Diwali offer isn’t an encouraging one, but it has appeared for the first time for iPhone 14 buyers on BGR India.
