Apple CEO Tim Cook on Thursday opened the second official Apple Store in India. The second store is located in Select Citywalk Mall in Saket, Delhi, hence it is called Apple Saket Store.

Apple Saket store is half the size of Apple BKC store

While the Saket store is large, it is not the largest store in India. The newly launched and first Apple Store in India, Apple BKC, is spread over 20,000 sq.ft. The Saket store, on the other hand, has an area of ​​8,417.83 sq ft, according to a report by CRE Matrix. This is mainly because it is inside a mall.

The store has over 70 highly skilled retail employees who come from 18 states. They may collectively speak more than 15 languages.

Apple reportedly pays 40 lakhs per month in rent

Apple is reported to be paying a rent of Rs 40 lakh per month to keep the Saket store operational. This is similar to the 43 lakh per month rent that Apple has to pay for the BKC store despite its massive size.

The Saket store is on a lease agreement with Select Infra for 10 years. According to Moneycontrol, Apple has the option to renew the lease for another 5 years, provided it gives six months notice in advance.

Technical support, Genius Bar appointments

The retail team in the store will not only sell the products but also guide and provide technical support. The Genius Bar will also take appointments at Apple Stores, which means anyone with an appointment can visit an Apple Saket store for software and hardware and even repairs.

The exact address of the Apple Saket store is- F-11, Select Citywalk District Centre, Saket, New Delhi, Delhi, 110017. It will be open from 10 am to 11 pm, 7 days a week.
