iPhone SE 3
The iPhone SE 3 is one of the most anticipated launches of this year and is expected to debut at Apple’s Peak Performance event tomorrow. Past reports have shared almost everything we should expect from the iPhone SE 2020 successor. The upcoming iPhone SE 3 or iPhone SE 2022 is expected to come with a design that is similar to its 2020 model. This means you will get curved edges and a single camera at the front and back with Touch ID support. It is tipped to sport a 4.7-inch display and is powered by the company’s A15 Bionic chipset. Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo says that the phone will come in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants. While there is no word on camera details yet, reports say that the phone will cost around $399 (approximately Rs 30,677) and will be available in Black, White and Red color variants.
Apple launched an updated version of its iPad Air in 2020 which was similar to the iPad Pro model. This means, users got thinner bezels, flatter edges, support for Apple Pencil 2, USB-C and a new Touch ID button. What’s missing from the device is support for 5G connectivity and a new A15 Bionic chipset that was made available on the iPad Pro model last year. Now, word is that Apple is planning to upgrade its iPad Air model with these missing features, i.e. A15 Bionic chipset and 5G connectivity. Apart from this, the update is not expected to bring any major changes.
Apple last year updated its MacBook Pro models with its new M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets. Now, reports suggest that the company is expected to update its MacBook Air model with a new chipset. Instead of the M1 Max or M1 Pro, the upcoming MacBook Air is expected to get a new M2 chipset.
new mac mini
A new Mac mini model is also included in the long list of devices debuting at Apple’s peak performance event. Word is that Apple is expected to launch a new Mac mini model alongside the hipster M1 Pro or M1 Max from Apple. Dubbed as the Mac Studio, this new Mac mini model will replace the existing Mac mini not with an M1 chip but with an Intel-variant of the device. However, some reports suggest that Mac Studio and Mac Studio Display may debut at WWDC 2022.
