Apple sometimes introduces a new color variant for its latest iPhone lineup, long after the official launch. It is now rumored that the company will launch a new Yellow color option for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models. According to a post by Japanese blog Mac Otakara, this new color option will be available in spring. However, it is not confirmed yet.
Apple iPhone 14 may get a new yellow color option
a report by MacRumours It is learned that multiple sources in Apple’s PR team have confirmed that the company is set to host a product briefing in the coming week. Although there is a possibility that this meeting may happen for the new color variant, but it has not been confirmed yet.
For the unversed, last year, Apple added a new green color variant for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini models, and an Alpine Green color for the iPhone 13 Pro model in March. Earlier the iPhone 12 was launched in Lilac color option.
This will not be the first time that the company will launch a yellow color variant for its iPhone lineup. Prior to the iPhone 14 series, it was introduced for the iPhone 11 in 2019, the iPhone XR in 2018, and the iPhone 5C in 2013.
Currently, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are available in Midnight, Blue, Starlight, Purple and (PRODUCT) RED color variants. The Pro models, on the other hand, were launched in Deep Purple, Gold, Silver and Space Black color options.
Since the Pro models are already available in a Gold color option, Apple might not launch a Yellow variant for them as they would look too similar.
Apple has also started manufacturing the iPhone 14 in India at Foxconn’s Sriperumbudur facility located on the outskirts of Chennai. Apart from the iPhone 14, the company already manufactures the iPhone SE, iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models in India. It started manufacturing iPhones in India in 2017.
