Apple has launched its third-generation AirPod, which brings a new design, a significant change for the first time since 201. The new design retains the hard plastic, a size that fits all approaches, but adds small stalks and a new case. In addition to design changes, third-generation airpods come with spatial audio support.

Third Generation Airpod: Features
Third-generation airpods are powered by a new acoustic system with the company’s own H1 chip. They use computational audio to deliver sound with adaptive EQ. They feature spatial audio support and Dolby Atmos support.
The AirPods 3 comes with an IPX4 rating with sweat and water resistance. They bring a total listening time of up to 30 hours, including a battery life of up to 6 hours from the bud and a charging case. The new AirPods are now part of the MagSafe ecosystem, allowing wireless charging without the need to purchase additional cases.
The new AirPods come with a lightweight and contoured design, which the company claims will be extremely comfortable. The trunk is now shorter and the buds come with a force sensor like the AirPods Pro for media control.
The new skin-detect sensor can accurately detect that the earpods are in the ear or in the pocket or on the table and pause playback when removed. It comes with beam-forming microphones, which turn off ambient noise and focus on the user’s voice.
Airpods (third generation) feature a custom driver and a high dynamic range amplifier. The microphone is covered by an acoustic mesh to help reduce wind noise. They also support support for the AAC-ELD format. It also features support for spatial audio, including dynamic head tracking.
“Airpods have changed wireless headphones forever with their groundbreaking design, incredible sound and magical experience,” said Greg Josviak, senior vice president of Apple’s Worldwide Marketing. “We look forward to introducing the next generation of AirPods, including Adaptive EQ to make the world’s best-selling headphones better, with uninterrupted sound and dynamic head tracking, spatial audio, non-stop interaction between Apple devices.”
