Airtel expands its 5G network to seven cities in the Northeast: Check availability here

Bharti Airtel today announced that it is expanding the availability of its 5G network, known as Airtel 5G Plus, to more cities in the North-Eastern states of the country. Airtel has already launched its 5G+ network in Guwahati, Shillong, Imphal, Agartala and Itanagar. And today, the telecom giant announced that it is expanding the service to seven more cities, including Kohima, Dimapur, Aizawl, Gangtok, Silchar, Dibrugarh and Tinsukia.

With today’s announcement, Airtel 5G Plus is available in a total of 12 cities in the North Eastern parts of the country.

“The connectivity for the North Eastern states is in line with our commitment to bridge the digital divide and connect the communities that need it most. Starting today, Airtel 5G Plus is available in Guwahati, Imphal, Shillong, Agartala and Itanagar, besides Kohima, Dimapur, Aizawl, Gangtok, Silchar, Dibrugarh and Tinsukia. With this, we have successfully operated the entire North-East region of India,” Rajneesh Verma, CEO Assam & North-Eastern States, Bharti Airtel said on the occasion.

With today’s roll-out, Airtel 5G Plus is now available in 105 cities across the country. Here are all the cities where Airtel 5G Plus is available.
