After Twitter, Instagram is preparing to introduce Pind Post feature for users.


Instagram is testing a new feature that will allow you to pin posts to your profile grid, just like you would for Tweets on Twitter. techcrunch report good. This will allow visitors to see that post at the top as soon as they open your profile. Hence, it will save the viewers the hassle of scrolling for hours to see such highlighted posts, which are buried deep in the profile. The pinned posts feature can be very useful for users who post frequently, especially for creators. At present, this feature is being tested for select users only.

As per the report, users will find a “Pin to your profile” option in a three-dot menu at the top right corner of each post. In an email conversation, Meta made a statement techcrunchConfirming the feature, “We’re testing a new feature that lets people display posts on their profiles.”

As of now, users can add their important stories to the highlights of the profile. Viewers (those you follow) can see these highlighted stories on your profile.

For Unverse, Alessandro Paluzzi, a reverse engineer, pointed to the feature in January. He also shared a screenshot of the feature, indicating that the social media platform has been working on this feature for some time.

Recently, Instagram has also removed the ‘Recent’ tab on hashtag pages for testing purposes. Right now, when you search for a hashtag on Instagram, you’re taken to a page where you can browse through the reels, posts, and videos under the said hashtag under categories: Top, Recent, and Reels.

The social media platform has now removed the “Recent” tab so that users can browse only through the Tops and Reels section. This will allow users to view posts and reels with the most engagement on the platform.
